1 Corinthians 1:23-24
“But we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.”
The power of God is revealed in humility and submission. This is the most powerful act of God—to bring everyone who believes in the Cross of Jesus and His resurrection. The world will say, “This is simply yes.” It’s simple but profound. “Not everything that looks strong is strong, and not everything that looks weak is weak”.
Philippians 2:8
“And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death—even death on a cross!”
What a great invitation from God to have new life through His profound act! You can live a free life, free from condemnation, free from hurt, free from the need to prove yourself to make things right before God. For this reason, Jesus became a man and was fully God to accomplish what I and you can’t do—to take away the power of sin and death.
Colossians 2:14
“Having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross.”
Yes, it’s simple to believe in the Cross. It gives freedom. Yes, it’s the only way: Jesus. Yes, it’s the only life. Yes, it’s the only truth. Jesus is the answer for everything. Yes, Jesus is the door. Whoever enters will find life.
John 10:9
“I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture.”
